I ordered a grill that was listed on the website as āIn stockā only to be called and told that it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. The website also said that my order qualified for free shipping but shipping on the order was $250. When I was called to be informed about the delay, I told the customer service representative that I felt like it was a misrepresentation, only to be cut off and asked if I wanted a refund.

After an order is submitted, we immediately check with our supplier before processing. The grill you ordered (the recently announced Peak 2.0) had been backordered nationwide and we called you to inform you as soon as we found out. You stated that you would prefer a refund rather than to wait out a restock - which we issued immediately after our call.
As for free shipping - you simply had not met the minimum purchase amount laid out in our terms. Again, we mentioned this to you on the call. You still qualify for free shipping!
Rest assured, we will hoist your 1-star review high like a battle flag at our next BBQ skirmish. It will fuel our grilling troops as we march forward, armed with spatulas and tongs, to conquer the challenges of outdoor living.
